IAN LOOFBORO
APPRENTICE COACH
apprentice trainer
Ian Loofboro is a coach and trainer who is passionate about helping people discover what they are truly capable of and uncover the ways they may be getting in their own way. Since beginning his coaching career in 2013 as a fitness and nutrition coach, Ian has worked with hundreds of athletes and individuals across a wide range of spaces—including ministry leaders, artists, and business owners—all driven by a desire to grow, lead, and live with greater purpose.
Through his early work in fitness and nutrition, Ian began to recognize that lasting change was not limited by knowledge, but by mindset and deeply rooted belief patterns. This realization led him to pursue deeper work in behavior change and transformational leadership. After attending his first GAP training, Ian experienced a personal shift that ignited a passion for helping others encounter the same kind of internal transformation—one that goes beyond external results and into identity, vision, and purpose.
Ian is a certified GAP trainer and coach, with additional experience in nutrition, mindset, gut and hormone health, and strength and mobility training. His approach integrates physical, mental, and spiritual development, helping individuals align how they think, live, and lead.
He believes that true transformation is the work of the Holy Spirit, and that as we renew our minds in alignment with God, we step into greater clarity, peace, and purpose. Ian is drawn to the work of GAP Community because it reflects scripture lived out—inviting people to realign with God’s vision for their lives through repentance, renewed thinking, and intentional relationship.
Ian lives in North Fort Myers, Florida with his wife, Lexi, and their Aussiedoodle, Leia. He enjoys working out, being outdoors, going on adventures, and is an unapologetic fan of superhero movies.
Ian is dedicated to:
Love
Love is the foundation of everything. We are called to love God and love people, and at the root of every desire for growth, connection, and purpose is a deeper call to love. When love leads, everything else finds its proper place.
Hope
Hope is what keeps us moving forward. It fuels vision, restores relationships, and creates space for healing and new possibilities. Without hope, transformation feels out of reach—but with it, we are reminded that more is always possible.
Transformation
Transformation is available to all of us. Through the renewing of our minds, we are invited into a completely new way of thinking, living, and being. When we begin to see differently, everything in our lives has the potential to change.
