TRAIN LIVES WITH GAP COMMUNITY
JOIN AN ELITE COMMUNITY OF TRANSFORMATIONAL TRAINERS
It is a true privilege to train with GAP Community. Our apprentice process is not a course you attend, it is a robust training season designed exclusively for those who are pursuing the call to train with GAP Community as GAP Community trainers. This is a world-class apprenticeship led by world-class trainers, formed inside the real work of transformation.
You are given front-row access to witnessing groups of people change again and again across cultures, contexts, and continents, learning not just the frameworks but how transformation actually unfolds in real human lives. This path is not for general interest or casual development. It is for those who are clear about stepping into training with GAP Community.
If you are called to be part of an elite community of faith-based trainers who carry depth, integrity, and global impact, this is where you start.
APPRENTICE PREREQUISITES
COMPLETE
TRAIN THE TRAINER
Your first step will be to complete GAP Community’s Train the Trainer Academy. This will give you the basic foundation needed to start training a room.
SPONSOR A TRAINING with GAP COMMUNITY
When our trainers show up to a training room, all of them can legitimately say, “I know what it takes to put on a training.” We are here to serve, not just rock and room.
FINANCIALLY SUPPORT GAP COMMUNITY
All of our trainers financially support the work at GAP Community. We do not require a set amount, but we do require that you give back something to the community financially.
ATTEND A LOCAL CHURCH
All of our apprentices are expected to be connected to a local church. We do not want to serve from a distance, but be a gift back to the local community of believers.
APPRENTICE FAQS
-
Apprentices are expected to make agreements with sponsors and trainers to show up to as many public trainings as possible.
Our trainer team will give you specific exercises, sections, and team groundings for each training to begin with. This might look like taking small sections in the beginning of your process. Towards the end, you will be training the majority of the material.
You are always welcome to jump into the open spaces and large group training sessions with the lead trainer. Much of the apprentice process is self initiated. The more you engage, take risks and transform, the greater value you will receive from your apprentice process.
You will also receive a generous amount of feedback from the lead trainer, and the participants on their experience of your training. This is one of the most valuable parts of the process, as it lets you know where you're at, and what is needed to get up as a trainer.
-
This generally depends on the flexibility of the apprentice, and how many trainings they are able to show up to. In general, the process takes anywhere from 18 months to two years. We want to make sure that you are fully prepared to own an 4 day training with confidence, character and skill.
The timeline is different with each apprentice.
-
We do not charge apprentices to learn with us.
However, you are expected to cover your travel expenses in getting to, and from the trainings that you will be apprenticing. This can include airfare, hotel stays, food, outside of the training days, etc. You can work with sponsors to negotiate staying in homes or with team members to cut down costs.
You are not financially compensated for your training time as an apprentice, but will be generously compensated with hundreds of hours of personal training from our lead trainers.
Once up as a trainer, you will be compensated for your training time.
-
We generally like to have trainers who are available for all of our public trainings. However, we recognize that there are those who feel called to specific communities.
We currently offer tiered apprentice processes for those looking to just train Transformational Leadership and/or The Fusion Marriage Workshop with GAP Community.
-
Once you have completed your apprentice process, and are up as a trainer, you will be eligible for compensation for your training. This comes directly from the sponsor to you as a trainer. Each training has a set trainer fee that you will be paid for your time. You will also be reimbursed for travel expenses.
