Creative Power of Words

We are designed to translate the spiritual into the physical.

Sound a bit creepy?  Don’t worry, you do it all the time without thinking… well, with thinking.  We are constantly thinking up new realities, and then translating them from thoughts into actions.  We dream of getting a degree, we pursue college and turn that thought into reality.  We dream of a family, we pursue marriage and kids and transform that dream into reality.

The tool that transforms thoughts into reality are our words.  This shouldn’t surprise us, a words are tools that God uses to create!

Genesis 1:3-4 “And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good,”

God speaks, and instantly transforms thoughts into reality.  We speak, and we transform thoughts into reality.

Consider how much of your relationship have been shaped by what you speak, and what you choose to not speak.  We are constantly constructing and destructing with out words.

“I love you”

“This will never work out”

“There regret things ahead of me

“I just can’t”

“I always…”

“This is just the way things are”

We are opening and closing possibilities with our words constantly.  In fact, neuroscience is now proving that our bodies physically respond to our words.  If we are constantly saying, “I’m going to get sick”, guess what is going to happen?  You guessed it, you will get sick.

Your words have power to speak life and death over others and yourself.  The question that we must ask is:

What are my words going to create today?
