I had the privilege of exploring Haiti with Jana Sweet as a potential new mission spot for the GAP Community the first two weeks of January.

I truly believe the Lord has opened the doors wide open for GAP to make a powerful difference within a group who are hungry for leadership training.  GAP Community in conjunction with Shekinah Church hosted two TL trainings for the city of Leogane where the 2010 earthquake happened.

While many relief groups and missionaries have worked tirelessly to help Haiti rebuild, very few seem to be focused on empowering and equipping the Haitian people to raise up and live their vision.  This is the unique work GAP Community brings.  With the leaders I encountered and the heart of the people to embrace taking action, I know this is the next area for GAP Community to make a difference.

Another team is going in November.
